Transport

Bus travel for students is a service provided by the College using contracted buses. The preparation of timetables and the provision of the service is managed by the Bus Coordinator. The service is designed to operate with optimum student participation balanced with the cost-effectiveness of providing such services. The College aims to cover the broadest geographical area possible; however, there may be occasions when the College cannot extend services to some areas.

The bus service is offered on a full time, part time, or casual basis.  Full time and part time travel is arranged through the College.  Casual travel may be booked through our online Flexischools system (see button below). Bus fees are billed per child sibling discount of 50% applied for the 3rd and subsequent children. It is an annual fee for each child and will be billed at the start of the school year on your first account. Payment options may be arranged through the Finance Department.  If bus travel commences throughout the year your account will be billed from the date bus travel commenced.

When the demand for a particular bus route exceeds capacity, the College will not overload the bus. We will, if possible, vary bus routes and times in an effort to allow maximum usage, or, if financially viable, will vary bus sizes or the number of buses. Given that this service is used by many College families, there will also be occasions when a waiting list will be necessary for some bus routes.
