Pilliars of Purpose

At the main Hillcrest thoroughfare enternace features wonderfully colourful banners depicting our four Pillars of Purpose – Faith, Character, Learning and Service. 

Each of the Pillars relates to our four Houses and features the mottos of each, taken from famous sayings by the people after whom the houses are named; William Carey, George Müller, Hudson Taylor and Adoniram Judson.

1. Faith is linked with Carey House (Yellow) and its motto “Expect Great Things”.
2. Character is linked with Müller House (Red) and its motto “Actions Speak Louder”.
3. Learning is linked with Taylor House (Green) and its motto “Nothing Is Impossible”.
4. Service is linked with Judson House (Blue) and its motto “Sacrifice Before Success”.
